What is foil?
Foil effect is created using a thin layer of metallic material applied to the front surface of your business card. It can applied to specific areas such as text, logo, icon or the entire surface. We can also apply ink over the foil to create a brilliant highlighting effect that seems to change colour. Your cards will be distinctive and your designs will really stand out.
What will my colours look like over foil?
Foil adds brilliance and depth to any colour. It will appear to change depending on which way its held, one way it could be dark the other it could shine like the colours of the spectrum.
All foil prints will be printed on either 265g/m2 Super Premium Matt Stock or Glossy Front papers. This upgrade is of no extra charge.
When uploaded your design, the best results occur when you apply foil to areas that do not contain black or very dark ink. Dark ink reduces the shine and brilliance of the foil accent.
When should I use foil?
Foil is perfect for anyone who wants to convey an elegant, artistic or unique look.
How does this affect turnaround time?
It won't. You can still receive your business cards within 3 days (7 days standard delivery).
How much is the foil accent upgrade?
Foil accent design requires advanced technologies and requires time consuming methods, however we offer reasonable prices.
